Hungarian police have arrested an Iranian national wanted by the German authorities for manslaughter at the Röszke border crossing station in southern Hungary, local police reported on Thursday.

The 29-year-old man was about to leave Hungary for Serbia in a car with Serbian plates, and presented a fake Hungarian passport to the border police. On his detention, it was revealed that a European warrant was in force. A decision to extradite the suspect to Germany is pending.
